Description

Compact enough to fit into the corner of a daypack, this tarp can be set up as a lunchtime shelter or an overnight bivy. The fabric uses a silicone impregnation that causes water to bead and roll off. When this extraordinary water repellency is combined with taut, steep rigging, the tarp acts like its waterproof, just as an umbrella made of fabric that is technically not waterproof provides excellent rain protection.
