Alpine Rescue Canterbury (or ARC for short) is a fully volunteer-based (and highly skilled!) team of climbers, mountaineers, instructors, guides, paramedics and doctors ready 24/7 to attend rescues that require their specialist skills in the Mountains of the Canterbury Region.

The ARC crew volunteer their time because of their connection to the mountains and the climbing community. It’s important for them that people in need get the most efficient and safe rescue possible without expecting anything in return. This means that for any rescue gear, clothing or training they rely on external donations.

For a cost of $10 (all money going to ARC), one person will win this INCREDIBLE PRIZE, that has been donated by local Canterbury independent outdoor businesses.

Buy as many tickets here as you like! Tickets will be attached to name on the sales order.

Terms and Conditions

Entries open at 2 pm NZST on the 7th of November 2024 and close at 9:30am NZST on Monday the 16th of December 2024. You can purchase as many raffle entries as you would like within that period if you are a New Zealand resident aged 18+. No raffle entries may be purchased outside this time frame.

Tickets may be purchased online at or in-store at , 57a Buchan Street, Christchurch. If you have brought a ticket to the “Learn with Alpine Rescue Canterbury” event, held on the 2nd of December 2024, you automatically receiveone entry into the raffle. You may purchase more raffle entries if you so wish.

One winner will be drawn randomly after 9:30am on Monday, the 16th of December 2024 and will be notified by email.

Prizes cannot be swapped for cash or any other items.
